A flash fiction about a twisted fate of love.
A flash fiction about a twisted fate of love.

I was melting at the moment. You were grinning genuinely like nothing happened. I saw how bright your face was while talking to someone else. It seems your heart is thumping like crazy when you are with him, resting in his arms.

I couldn't help but wonder if I was making you feel that way when we were together.

I reminisce about our memories, the moments that we shared and cherished. My heart feels choked, something is off, and the pain is excruciating.

Seeing you right now, from a distance, makes me realize that I cannot get you out of my mind. I know your love is gone, but my cries are still resounding.

Right now, my tears are silently falling from my eyes. I am holding your picture for the last time.

This is the moment I have been waiting for; I am finally letting you go, my love.

Trying to remember the line in the song One Last Cry, "This time stop living a lie, I guess I'm down to my last cry."

Then, I hung myself to death.
