A flash fiction about what's odd in the shopping sale in the Philippines

I browse on my online shopping app to see new products on sale right now, for sure. I won't be surprised if many items are already sold out due to the buyers waiting for this moment.

However, while browsing, I saw every items are free shipping and sale with a free music box.

This is odd, yet I got confused when I read the caption in every item.

"Choose wisely."

Choose what???

That's why I went to the mobile phones store, and without any further, I directly checked out the item that was 50% off.

After two days, the item already arrived. The rider didn't speak but handed me my order and the freebie music box. There was a written note on the rider's mask.

Still confused, but I think I have to choose between these items. What if I choose the phone over the free item?

But... I am curious what if I will choose the music box. So, Instead of my phone, my curiosity has driven me to open the music box.

Then my eyes suddenly roamed around. And I observed how quiet the place is right now. I am not used to it because my neighbors are also online shoppers.

What was happening?

But my question vanish in the cold air when I felt something on my head and the music box began playing.

"Fly Me to the moon..."

And the last thing I heard was a gunshot.

"Customer 1,079 is dead."
