In celebration of Viet Nam's 81st Independence Day and 50 years of Viet Nam and Philippines diplomatic relations, we asked H.E. Dr. Lai Thai Binh a few questions about historical ties, nation-building, and how today's youth will be judged by tomorrow's historians.

By prioritizing sustainable growth and shared regional prosperity today, both nations can leave behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and mutual respect for future generations to reflect upon.
4. Empowering youth as pillars of Vietnam and Philippines relations
Youth in both countries serve as the primary drivers of innovation, digital transformation, and social change. Impactful regional transformation starts with everyday actions, such as starting responsible businesses, volunteering, or tackling local environmental issues, multiplied across millions of young citizens to strengthen Vietnam and Philippines relations.
5. Cultivating youth ownership in cross-cultural programs
Sustainable bilateral connections rely on human ties rather than policy frameworks alone.
