Heroes without Capes

Not all heroes wear a cape or fight in distant lands,
Some walk beside us, they offer gentle hands.
They stay when clouds are heavy and gray,
And light the path when we have lost our way.
They give us calm when silence feels too loud,
Stand by us firmly when life is unkind and proud.
They see our struggles and wipe our tears
And lend their ears to all our unsaid fears.
They celebrate our joys as if their own,
Lift our spirits when we feel alone.
They do not ask for praise or fame,
Their only goal is to ease our pain.
They remind us hope can bloom again,
A feeling we can all sustain.
Their care is a river running through our vein,
A simple act of love we can't explain.
So let us thank them for all they do,
And show our love with hearts that are true.
For helping costs nothing, it’s free to give,
And be their hero too, as long as we live.
