Blues in Rainy Days

A poem about decision and regrets.

He is waiting while the raindrops are pouring,

sitting alone at the waiting shed's bench and singing,

the favorite love song of him and his someone,

whose special and his only lovely one.

He is bleeding internally, tired mentally,

his melancholic eyes were telling sorry,

his tears were showing sincerity,

unveiling how his heart also hurt deeply.

The angle may be cliche,

because he's waiting for the girl who he ditched,

regretting his actions and decisions in the past,

because he realized that the girl is his last.

He can't take back what he have done,

because the girl is already gone,

and won't come back as she found someone new,

who will treat her well and love her anew.

Terms in every line are may be simple,

yet the message is impactful for all people,

regret comes after careless decision,

and affliction reigns after blue emotion.
